Terms of Service

Legal / Terms of Service

Welcome to MOOT! By using our autonomous developer infrastructure daemon, command-line interface tools, sandboxed environments, and related applications ("Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, initializing, or using MOOT, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have full legal capacity in your jurisdiction to operate our developer software tools.

3. Account & Daemon Registration

To access cloud synchronization, logging metrics, or specific infrastructure tools, you may need to register an account. You are responsible for keeping your local environment access tokens secure and for all actions taken under your credentials.

4. Use of Services

You agree to use MOOT only for lawful coding, testing, and engineering operations. You may not use the autonomous daemon to generate malicious software, target external compute networks, or attempt to break out of the provided execution boundaries.

5. Payment & Subscriptions

Access to deep context computing tiers requires payment. By choosing a paid tier, you agree to pay all applicable deployment fees and taxes. All software subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by local consumer law.

6. Intellectual Property

All software architecture, hypervisor optimization tech, core brand marks, and underlying execution design of MOOT belong exclusively to us. You may not reverse-engineer the core daemon logic without explicit permission.

7. User Code & Repositories

You retain absolute ownership over the codebase, repository files, and tokens you process through the platform. By passing files to the daemon, you grant us a local license solely to parse, compress, and map the context as required to execute your requested tasks.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict your software access tokens at any time if you violate these operational boundaries. You may cease using the MOOT terminal application at any time.

9. Disclaimers

MOOT is provided "as is" without warranties of any performance tier. Because the tool executes code autonomously within your designated workspace, we do not guarantee that all generated refactors or scripts will be completely error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOOT and its creators are not liable for any direct or indirect filesystem damage, resource crashes, lost repository data, or production downtime caused by the autonomous execution engine.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these infrastructure guidelines from time to time. We will publish updates clearly inside the repository or console changelog. Continued deployment of the daemon implies full acceptance of the revised conditions.

12. Contact

If you have engineering or compliance questions regarding these operational boundaries, contact the core team at support@moot.dev.
